Dr. Lin is a seasoned banking professional with over 27 years of banking experience, including eight years as Chief Financial Officer of Alhambra-based Omni Bank and two years as Chief Operating Officer of First Commercial Bank (USA). Dr. Lin has in-depth hands-on experience in overall banking operations, treasury, finance, management information systems, compliance, information technology, human resources and mortgage banking. Ms. Lin obtained her Ph.D. and her M.A. in Economics from University of Illinois at Chicago in 1983 and 1981, respectively. She is one of the organizing members of American Plus Bank.
Julian Liu - Executive Vice President & CCO
Mr. Liu has over 27 years of commercial banking experience, including serving as Chief Credit Officer at American Plus Bank since its inception in 2007. Mr. Liu served as Chief Operating Officer of Fubon USA Inc., a subsidiary of Fubon Financial Holding Company from 2005 to 2007. Mr. Liu served as Chief Credit Officer of First Commercial Bank (USA) in Alhambra from 2001 to 2004. Mr. Liu obtained his MBA in Finance from University of Wisconsin, Madison in 1982.
Sandy Hwang ¨C Executive Vice President & CLO
Ms. Hwang has more than thirty years of extensive experience in all facets of lending, credit and loan administration, work-out loans management, loan documentation and loan compliance. Most recently, she served as EVP and Chief Credit Officer at Los Angeles National Bank. Prior to this, Ms. Hwang was a member of the organizing team of First Choice Bank, where she served as EVP and Chief Credit Officer from 2005 to 2011. Previously she served as EVP and Chief Credit Administrator of First Continental Bank from 1991 to 2003 and Vice President and Credit Administrator of Los Angeles National Bank from 1982 to 1991. Ms. Hwang holds a BA degree from University of California, in Los Angeles.
